How to Join
To join University of Wollongong Swim Club, come to a meeting night and pay your registration fee. You’re also welcome to try out Swim Club free for 2 weeks before joining.
Fee structure
Fees comprise Membership fees and Entry fees; they are fixed at the Annual General Meeting each year.
Membership fees are paid annually and include:
- Swimming NSW membership fee
- South Coast & Tablelands Swimming Association (SCaT) membership fee
- University of Wollongong Swim Club membership fee
Membership Fees for the 2011-12 season are:
Single swimmer: $65
Second swimmer in family: $60
Third and additional swimmers in family: $55
Non-swimmer: $25
Each family must have at least one adult member - either a swimmer or non-swimmer.
Entry fees are paid each week and are $2 per swimmer.
Pool Entry
Swimmers also pay URAC for pool entry. Pool entry in 2011 costs $2.90 per child, or a 25 visit pass can be purchased for $60.
Registering for races
Swimmers must register on the web site each week for the races they are going to compete in that week. To register for your races:
- Request an account on the web site, if you don't already have one
- Log in
- Go to the event you are going to register for. You'll find the next event on the home page, and also on the Calendar.
- Enter the names of the swimmers, and the events they are going to compete in.
Registration opens one week before the event, and closes on Thursday at 5 p.m.
