How to Join

To join University of Wollongong Swim Club, come to a meeting night and pay your registration fee. You’re also welcome to try out Swim Club free for 2 weeks before joining.

Fee structure

Fees comprise Membership fees and Entry fees; they are fixed at the Annual General Meeting each year.

Membership fees are paid annually and include:

Membership Fees for the 2011-12 season are:
    Single swimmer: $65
    Second swimmer in family: $60
Third and additional swimmers in family: $55

    Non-swimmer: $25

Each family must have at least one adult member - either a swimmer or non-swimmer.

Entry fees are paid each week and are $2 per swimmer.

Pool Entry

Swimmers also pay URAC for pool entry. Pool entry in 2011 costs $2.90 per child, or a 25 visit pass can be purchased for $60.

Registering for races

Swimmers must register on the web site each week for the races they are going to compete in that week. To register for your races:

  1. Request an account on the web site, if you don't already have one
  2. Log in
  3. Go to the event you are going to register for. You'll find the next event on the home page, and also on the Calendar.
  4. Enter the names of the swimmers, and the events they are going to compete in.

Registration opens one week before the event, and closes on Thursday at 5 p.m.
