How to Join

To join University of Wollongong Swim Club, come to a meeting night and pay your registration fee. You’re also welcome to try out Swim Club free for 2 weeks before joining.

Fee structure

Fees comprise Membership fees and Entry fees; they are fixed at the Annual General Meeting each year.

Membership fees are paid annually and include:

Entry fees are $2.00 per swimmer per week.

Fees for 2009/2010

Fees for the 2009/2010 season are:

  • $30.00 for swimming members
  • $20.00 for non-swimming members

There must be at least one adult member - either swimming or non-swimming - in each family.

In addition to club fees, there is a $3.00 per swimmer charge for pool use, payable to the University Recreation and Aquatic Centre (URAC).

Registering for races

Swimmers must register on the web site each week for the races they are going to compete in that week. To register for your races:

  1. Request an account on the web site, if you don't already have one
  2. Log in
  3. Go to the event you are going to register for. You'll find the next event on the home page, and also on the Calendar.
  4. Enter the names of the swimmers, and the events they are going to compete in.

Registration opens one week before the event, and closes on Thursday at 5 p.m.
